While the McCain campaign has denied Sarah Palin ever registered with the Alaska Independence Party, TPM confirms Todd Palin was a registered member of this rogue extremist group.  The Feds probably said it is too damn cold in Alaska to get stuck in a Waco style stand-off with these guys.
